Welcome to Our Centre

The plan for the training of few persons is an initiative by Dr. Nabin Baran Manik of Jadavpur University, for the fulfillment of some noble needs of our society. Although this concept was nourishing in the mind of Dr. Manik from the beginning of the year 2000, it took a shape almost after ten years with the moral support and encouragement of different eminent persons all over India as well as abroad, who are basically in the friend circle of Dr. Manik. His fellows took an active role to shape his dream in true form. Initially the aim was to make a few low cost essential instruments which are being frequently used in degree colleges as well as in research laboratory, with the help of some non formal students after giving them proper training on it. In our state there are so many students those who lack the opportunity to get proper education but they possess immense potential to pursue work in this field. In this centre, those students are provided a platform to learn some instrumentation and consequently to apply that knowledge for the benefit of the society.
